Jaybird Treehouse
The Jaybird Treehouse is built beneath an oak tree and two tall pines. There is a queen bedroom on main floor and a trap door that leads to the downstairs with 3 twin beds. Luxury bathroom with a rock river set in the floor, a glass shower door where the rock tile continues, and an interesting sink made from a flowerpot and an old set of drawers makes up the one bathroom in the cabin. Use the bucket pulley on the back deck 20+ feet up in the air. There is a spacious living area with a sofa bed and full kitchen. Large deck on the front and beautiful sunsets to enjoy while grilling or sitting around the firepit.
The space
Outside the kitchen window is an herb garden for your gourmet cooking. Inside is a Cuisinart ice cream maker. We always have sugar and vanilla, but make sure you bring milk and cream and your favorite toppings and look up recipes for your favorite ice cream! https://delishably.com/desserts/the-cherry-red-cuisinart-ice-cream-maker
We offer microwave popcorn for a late night snack when you arrive and mug brownies. There is also usually oatmeal packets to make sure you’re ready for a quick breakfast! We have a coffee maker for a full pot of coffee or an individual serving and we have coffee for both kinds. We have dishes, pots, pans and serving pieces but if there’s something missing, just call or text us and we’ll bring it right over. We’d like you to have as close to a gourmet experience as possible.
We have a gas grill and provide wood for the firepit. Bring your s’mores stuff! A canoe, 3 kayaks and paddleboat are all available for you to enjoy that are shared with the other rentals. We also have a pair of mountain bikes you can use and fishing poles in the cabin.
Underneath the cabin is a hammock for your daily nap!
There is a beautiful sunbathing or stargazing deck on the lake you can enjoy with a fire pit you are welcome to use.
Guest access
The Jaybird Treehouse is accessible up a staircase with handrails, and is locked using an electronic keypad for your convenience. Please let us know if you have any questions or difficulties in using the keypad and we would be happy to assist!
Other things to note
We accommodate all guests, but we ask that you please do not smoke inside the Jaybird Treehouse.
We do offer wifi, but due to our remote location sometimes the wifi speed may be slow.
In the winter months if there is ice outside, it may be difficult to enter and exit the neighborhood.
You do have the entire treehouse to yourself, and if you need space for more guests, let us know as we may have more space in our other rentals!

“Everything about our stay was great. This treehouse has a very whimsical feel to it. Our kids (9 and 7) loved the sleeping quarters down the trap door. So many things they have for you they don’t even list. Ground coffee with filters along with pods. They have firewood waiting for you with a fire starter. Also fishing poles and a tackle box in the unit. They provide 4 towels for use at the lake. The fridge had basic condiments- ketchup, mayo, mustard and horseradish. Another great surprise was a tankless hot water heater- endless supply of hot water. Great for everyone in our family to get a hot shower. The lake is a short walk from the cabin. You just have to cross the street and the walkway down to the lake is a wooden walkway they have painted with a nonslip covering. There was a canoe, paddle boat, and 3 kayaks available to use. Great fishing right off the dock. (About 4pm was prime time for our kids to catch bluegill) There is WiFi in the cabin and they have a smart TV with Netflix. The ice cream maker was definitely a hit with our kids. We would definitely stay here again.”
